Women’s History Month: Meet Allison Moore
In honor of Women’s History Month, we are focusing on the team of women behind HFO.
Today, meet Allison Moore, Family Office Coordinator at Hutchinson Family Offices.
Allison believes, “it’s never too late, and you’re never too old to chase your dreams.”
When asked to reflect on a woman in history she admires, her response was Laura Ingalls Wilder.
Allison said, “I love to read, and her writing and stories are timeless. She had grit and perseverance to get through the time she lived. Her daughter was the one who believed in her most and was the main reason she reached a wide audience. Her first book in the “Little House” series was published when she was 65, which means it’s never too late, and you’re never too old to chase your dreams!”
Like many of us, she looks up to her mom.
When talking about her mom, she noted, “she became a single mother when I was 12 and went back to college, finishing her degree Magna Cum Laude at Sweet Briar College. She did this all while continuing to work full-time and putting up with my teenage years while my brother and sister were in college. She is a strong woman I only hope to live up to one day.”
