As a Portfolio Manager Cole manages the firm’s day-to-day hedging operations and plays a key role in research management. He does this by working closely with the portfolio team analyzing and dissecting various companies across all sectors. Hedging operations entail principal protection, reducing downside volatility, and alpha generation on a risk-adjusted return basis. This involves trading derivatives in the options market. Services include financial planning, wealth management, financial advisory and financial analysis, with a strong focus on research analysis and understanding financial metrics and industry dynamics.  

A graduate of Texas State University, Cole holds a Business Administration degree in Finance.  While attending TSU, Cole interned with Hutchinson Family Offices in the Summer of 2018, where he began to put his education to practical use.  Upon graduating, Cole relocated to North Carolina in 2020 to join our team full-time.  Cole has obtained his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®), Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®), and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FRPQ™) certifications. 

Now a resident in the Greensboro area, Cole enjoys golfing, exercising, and reading in his spare time.
